Where’s my spot?
Here's What To Do
1
Spread the blanket on the floor and say, "This is your special spot. Let’s play a game where we find where to sit or stand!"
2
Sit on the blanket and say, "I’m on the spot! Can you sit next to me?" Pause and let your child try.
3
Move off the blanket and say, "Now I’m off the spot! Can you stand on it?" Encourage them to copy you.
4
Stand behind the blanket and say, "I’m behind the spot! Can you stand in front of me?" Adjust based on their understanding.
